Union City Church of the Nazarene

The youth group, Modern Disciples, meet every Thursday night at 6:00 P.M. They eat together, learn more about God and participate in community service projects.  The teens also go to summer camp each year, help with the Easter egg hunt, and Vacation Bible School. They will have a booth at the French Creek Festival on July 8th and 9th to help raise money for their different projects.

Each year the youth group participates in the 30 Hour Famine. They have fundraisers to raise money to help end world hunger. They go around town collecting food to donate to the local food pantry. They also spend time standing in the middle of town collecting monetary donations to add to their fundraising money.

The youth group had a rummage sale to raise money for the different projects that they do. Each year they donate Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas presents to families in need.
